Oh what fun! Guaranteed to have you in stitches, this is a hilarious and, at times, absurdly ridiculous piss-take of the sleazy spies and the climate of paranoia rife in Washington DC. When CIA analyst Osborne Cox (Malkovich) is fired, he returns home to dedicate himself to writing his memoirs and drinking. Two clueless blackmailers get hold of his memoirs and things turn really crazy. Like The Big Lebowski this is a farcical shaggy dog story into which are worked a series of great scenes, fabulous dialogue and fine, fine actors having a ball. A joy to watch.
"Snappy, snarky and full of big stars being very, very silly" Total Film
