A lucid, well-argued examination of the complex web of market and political
forces that are changing what we eat as multinational corporations seek to
control the world’s food system and to silence farmers who dare to stand up
to them. The potential impacts of the GM revolution and the patenting of seeds
on the food we eat and on our health and that of our children are spelled
out through interviews with farmers, activists and academics in a highly informative
and engaging way. The film also explores alternatives to large-scale industrial
agriculture such as organic and sustainable agriculture.
“The Future of Food could be the Fahrenheit 9/11 of the genetically engineered food battle.” Wired
