Borderlines Film Festival
Look out for Borderlines Film Festival 2011, bringing choice film to Herefordshire, Shropshire and the Marches for the ninth year running.
Same recipe
17 days of wall-to-wall cinema in steel and glass arts centres, stuccoed assembly rooms, Norman churches, the back rooms of pubs and innumerable village halls.
Different ingredients
Jo Brand, Black Swan, Biutiful, Paul Merton's silent film pianist Neil Brand, Of Gods and Men, The Ballad of Mott the Hoople, True Grit, Chico, and Rita, Samson and Delilah, The Secret in Their Eyes, our own awards for films on Britain's natural world Under Open Skies, and much more.
With added zest
Thanks to part funding from the European Union (EARD) and Defra through the VITAL Herefordshire LEADER programme we're able to present enhanced activities in Herefordshire's villages and market towns in 2011 and 2012.
As well as special events and an extended film programme a special website (to launch late February) will offer the opportunity to delve deeper and wider into the communities where we screen, exploring the rich and unusual variety of things to do and see in the surrounding area from glamping in a shepherd's hut by the River Teme to llama trekking in the Black Mountains.
Full programme details will appear here and in the Festival brochure in late February. Sign up on this page to receive the brochure delivered direct to your door as well as regular e-news updates, ticket offers and all the fun of the Festival.
